Terms of Service
Updated 22 October 2026 · Native iOS 2.0Using HolyChat
By using HolyChat, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. The app is intended for people aged 14 and over. Users under 18 should involve a parent or guardian where consent or purchase approval is required.
AI guides and daily content
Guides are fictional AI characters, not human clergy or religious authorities. AI replies may be inaccurate or inappropriate. Verify important information and scripture in a trusted source. HolyChat offers reflection and educational content; it does not provide professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or emergency services. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a nearby trusted person.
Free access and Premium
Daily scripture, prayers, reflections, bookmarks, reminders, and widgets are free. Free chat includes five AI replies per day; Premium includes 50. Limits reset at 00:00 UTC. Network availability, service outages, abuse prevention, and service-wide spending limits can affect chat availability. We do not promise unlimited usage or uninterrupted access.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Premium subscriptions are purchased through Apple. The App Store confirmation displays the actual localized price, billing period, renewal terms, and any eligible offer before purchase. Subscriptions renew according to Apple’s terms until cancelled. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account. Restore Purchases in HolyChat reconnects eligible purchases. Deleting the app or its data does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled through Apple, subject to its policies and applicable consumer rights.
Your content and acceptable use
You retain your rights in your messages. You allow HolyChat and its service providers to process them to provide requested replies, protect the service, and maintain temporary retry records as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not send unlawful, exploitative, abusive, or harmful content; attack the service; evade access controls; or present fictional AI guides as real people or authorities. Avoid sending sensitive information about yourself or others.
Availability and local storage
Local history depends on your device and its backup settings. We cannot recover deleted local history. We may update features, limits, and availability, with notice where required. The app is provided as available. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Content rights and contact
Scripture translations and other content remain subject to their respective rights. You may use HolyChat for personal reflection. Contact oneholychat@gmail.com for support, subscription questions, or concerns about content.
